Thursday prompt from Sue Vincent

If you listen carefully, can you hear old flirtations, snap of fans, rustle of silks?

Can you see glitter of diamonds, reflections of laughter and the flicker of candles?

Bright colours and perfumes mingle across the centuries.

Sweet fresh air  moving through old mullions cannot banish the memories snared in thick grey nets draped by guardian spiders over the broken chair.

Thanks, Ann 🙂 That creates an atmosphere of memories lingering like ghosts.

I agree with Sue about the ghost memories, within your few words you’ve created so much to reflect on…well done..
